The NBA season is kicking off in just a few weeks and right now there are a bunch of analysts, writers, and fans speculating about what’s to come.

Will the Golden State Warriors reign supreme again?

Who will make the playoffs?

Which teams will overperform and which will underperform?

Most importantly, which NBA star will be the best of the season?

There have been a few outlets predicting the top players in the league for 2022-23 and a consensus is that Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks will be the best player.

The other names consistently mentioned towards the top of these lists are two-time MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

There has been a lot of talk of Antetokounmpo dominating the league this year and he is certainly intent on proving himself yet again.

Will he actually pull it off?

Antetokounmpo has already been the league’s MVP two times before and he promises that the best is ahead for him.

He made no secret of being disappointed by his team’s showing last season and he wants to redeem himself and his Bucks in the year ahead.

For his part, Antetokounmpo has been in the gym a lot, playing for his Greek national team in the EuroBasket tournament, and has been making plans for the upcoming season.

He’s ready to go and he’s ready to win – but he will have a lot of competition.

Jokic, Embiid, Doncic, and Curry are also primed for success and won’t go down without a fight.

Meanwhile, others like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Trae Young are attempting to have comeback seasons of their own.
